Limited Capacity seats available

Handphone applications can be tapped on not just as a source of handy information but can also be used to facilitate the teaching and learning of Biology. Participants of the session will be shown how to use these apps within a lesson, whether as a means to teach the lesson or for student self-assessment. For example, the ‘Cell World’ app can be used to help students visualise parts of the cell through 3D images while the ‘Digestive System Lab’ app allows for self-assessment of students’ knowledge about the digestive system. Other apps will allow students to find answers to Ten-Year Series questions. Suggestions as to how each app should be used, as well as the limitations of each app, will be also be shared during the session.
