Google Classroom has been used as a tool to facilitate classroom discussions, assessment for learning and engaging learners as a whole school approach since 2016. This session aims to share how YISS has leveraged on Google Classroom for Teaching and Learning in areas such as Character Citizenship Education (CCE) and other subject lessons. This approach has received positive feedback from most staff and students and has made a positive impact on Teaching and Learning. Through hands-on activities, the facilitators will share on various ways that the participants can leverage Google Classroom in their lessons. There will also be opportunities for the participants to learn about the challenges and issues faced during the implementation of Google Classroom as a teacher and from a whole school perspective.


Ms. Ruth Yap

Miss Ruth Yap is a Food and Nutrition and Elements of Business Skills teacher. She has been in Yusof Ishak Secondary School's ICT Committee for two years. Her area of interest includes exploring and applying new ICT tools in the classroom.
